The sale room is easy to access from the main Burnley Road with ample free parking available just outside in our large car park.

There is the added convenience of being able to bid on line via Easy Live Auction if you cannot attend the sale room in person.

Whyte Auctioneers' qualified auctioneer, Paul Whyte M.A., has a wide knowledge and 20 years experience covering antiques, fine arts, paintings, watches, arms and armour, gold, silver and general goods. We offer a free, no obligation valuation service giving advice on what goods will realistically realise at auction.

 

This is drop-in service although private insurance valuations can be arranged by booking a specific appointment. Please telephone the sale room for an appointment.

 

Whyte Auctioneers also offers free, no obligation, home visits to value items in situ. Please telephone to arrange an appointment at your property.

 

Whilst we can suggest which items are suitable for auction from photographs: we are unable to give a valuation without actually viewing the item.

 

We are able to provide accurate written valuations of single items, specialist collections, whole or partial house contents.

 

Individually tailored reports can be provided in hard copy or in digital format.

 

We provide this service for a competitive fee.  Please telephone the sale room for further details.

 

Shipping, Collection and Delivery

 

We offer a shipping service for small items which do not include ceramics or glassware.  Should you wish to bid for ceramic or glass items please organise a packing and shipping company for such lots.

 

Items unsuitable for shipping by ourselves are indicated on the lot description.  Should you wish to bid for such please organise a packing and shipping company.

 

For larger items we can recommend a carrier to bring your items to the sale room or deliver bought items to you within the Yorkshire Region. 

 

We can also recommend a suitable house clearance company if you need to clear a property.
